Children’s National Hospital is a full service 61,200 square foot hospital facility that contains two operating rooms, post op recovery rooms, an MRI scanner, two X-ray machines, audiology booths, patient exam rooms and doctor’s offices. The electrical specification dictated a 100% conduit installation for all electrical wiring. The power distribution system is divided into normal and emergency systems. Emergency power is redundant with a 350KW diesel generator and multiple UPS and inverter systems.
